GENERATING EMPLOYMENT FOR VETERANS
As the saying goes the biggest welfare of a person to is teach him ‘fishing’ instead of giving him a ‘fish’! The alarming 6.1% rate of unemployment in the country warrants for drastic measures to generate employment opportunities for the youth of the country
The problem of Veterans is unique, as to keep the Army Young (a National need), Army every year retires compulsorily 50-60000 soldiers in the age bracket of 35-40 years. Since majority of them are from rural background and lack requisite skills, it is very difficult to find employment for such soldiers. Their 15-20 year experience of Army, their values of discipline, hard work, loyalty, integrity go unrecognised and their productive years are wasted.
There is a crying need to have a system where such soldiers and the youth of the country can be skilled and suitably placed to utilise the demographic dividend which the country has today.
The 10% allocation of donations will be utilised to train youth and Veterans in employment guaranteed skills and make them useful citizen of the country. This is a National Social Responsibility.
